Jamie + Valentine = My boys 😘.

These two are the love of my life and what better way to express my love than by crocheting their names on my top! 😁.

The Alpine crochet tank top is a textured and light tank perfect for personalization. All size-inclusive. Check out the free crochet pattern below.

DESIGN INSPIRATION

I didn’t see very many personalized tops with letters around and I wanted to give makers a chance to include names or words that they could incorporate into their garments.

I wanted to create a top that was also fun and textured – hence the alpine stitches! I added these stitches after seeing them around a lot on Instagram recently and wanted to give them a try while uniquely incorporating them.

This crochet pattern is written without the text, but personalization is available here.

If you would like a printable ad-free PDF copy of this pattern, it is readily available for purchase in my pattern store, or add this to your Ravelry queue.

CONSTRUCTION

This crochet tank top is worked from the top down. Working the Alpine stitches is simple and easy once you know the repetitive pattern. If you know how to Double Crochet through the front of the post, then everything is a breeze.

I am using an acrylic/ nylon yarn by Woolike Simili-Laine Loops & Threads available at Micheal’s. It is a category 1 yarn that makes it super light and super breezy with a 3.0 mm hook. Plus one skein comes in 678 yards/ 620m so you will have plenty to go by!
