My older son decided it was his turn to shine on the blog, so here is Jamie’s Crochet Pullover/ Sweater. It is so soft he says he wants to wear it every day. If he’s happy, I’m happy!

This unisex pattern comes in 17 whopping sizes from age 2 all the way up to adult size 5XL. You can also find the full Video tutorial on my YouTube channel where it is worked up to size 5T.

DESIGN INSPIRATION

unisex crochet sweater all sizes free pattern

I love sweater patterns the whole family can wear. So I wanted to make a unisex pullover pattern that would work great as a gift or for a match-y outfit the whole family can wear.

At the same time, I wanted to create a high-neck collar, that would work great either wearing it up or pulled down.

This pattern is size inclusive from children aged 2 years old all the way up to adults 5XL,

CONSTRUCTION

Unisex Crochet Sweater for all sizes | Free pattern & Video

This pattern is made using the Herringbone Half Double Crochet Stitch as well as a new stitch I acquired called the Group Cluster Stitch. And I think these two stitch types really complement each other really well, perfect for a uni-gender pattern.

For the yarn, I am using Coboo yarn by Lion brand in the color taupe. These yarns are made from a blend of cotton and bamboo which will give you a soft and drapey finish (if that’s what you’re aiming for)

I really do enjoy working with this yarn, and I’ve used it quite a bit. Here are some other projects I’ve made using this yarn.

This Crochet Sweater also comes Ad Free with a full step-by-step picture-guided PDF file and video tutorial to guide you throughout the entire process.
